The undergraduate program of Chinese Studies includes 1710 hours of language classes, among them:
- Chinese general course: 1140 hours
- Chinese writing: 270 hours
- reading and translation of Chinese texts: 240 hours
- Chinese source texts (discussion session/seminar): 60 hours
After completion of the undergraduate program, students will be able to use and understand Chinese language on a B2 level using both simplified and traditional characters. Moreover, apart from language skills for communicating with Chinese speakers, students will as well be able to consider the cultural context, including verbal and non-verbal behaviour.
