Biography
Chou Pi-Chun graduated from the master program of the Chair of Translation Studies (at the time: Chair of Research on Translation and Intercultural Comunication) of the Jagiellonian University. She got her undergraduate degree from the Department of Slavic Studies and the Department of Diplomacy of National Cheng-Chi University in Taiwan.
Employment
In June 2022, Chou served as an interpreter at the 11th World Urban Forum in Katowice.
From 2016 to 2021, Chou taught Polish-Chinese translation to Chinese-speaking students in the Centre of Polish Language and Culture in the World of the Jagiellonian University.
She has worked as an interpreter at several business occasions, for example the Fastner Expo 2019, Fastner Expo 2018 and at several business meetings during the Taiwanese trade mission in Central-Eastern Europe in 2017.
She has interpreted at the interviews for Taiwanese citizens applying for residence permits in the Małopolska Provincial Office in Krakow.
She was also the interpreter for the invited runners from Poland during the International Wan Jin Shi Marathon in Taiwan.
